We are parents of two sport crazy kids who used their wardrobes to hang their medals in (on coat hangers!). As the years went by the number of medals they were getting was increasing, and as any parent would be, we were very proud of their achievements.
We wanted our kids to be able to proudly display all their winning medals, as we believe in the motivational power of the medal and that these medals aren’t just a medal; each and every one of these medals tells a story; the hours of training, the hard work, the physical and mental emotion that was invested to win each medal.
We searched high and low looking for affordable medal holders but when we did find something, the medal holders were quite expensive not to mention the postage (this was mainly because they were coming from overseas!)
Chris has worked in the metal fabrication industry for over 20 years and due to his experience within the metal fabrication industry he decided to design and make some medal holders for our girls. Once their friends saw them, they asked us to make them some as well. One thing lead to another, and we found ourselves getting orders from a friend of a friend of a friend... we decided to offer them to the wider community and so our family business venture begins in 2012!
